Tom Brady’s trusted confidant, Charlie Weis, has thrown Bill Belichick under the bus by saying that he believes the New England Patriots would have won more Super Bowls if TB12 had stayed on as head coach.

Tom Brady’s trusted confidant, Charlie Weis, threw Bill Belichick under the bus on Monday night. Read more in detail here: brady belichick.

Alex Guerrero is one of the few individuals who knows Tom Brady as well as he does. After all, he’s spent almost two decades assisting the great quarterback in preparing his body for the demands of NFL football. Guerrero became a well-known character in Foxborough as a result of his strong connection with Brady and a number of notable New England Patriots players.

Of course, not everyone was pleased with TB12’s business partner’s constant presence.

Despite the fact that Bill Belichick benefited from Guerrero’s efforts to keep his famous client in the spotlight, he sometimes gave the controversial trainer the cold shoulder. Needless to say, two of Brady’s most significant individuals didn’t always agree with one other.

Guerrero was fortunate in that he was able to get out of a dangerous position after the GOAT moved his skills to Tampa. And if there were any questions about what led to Brady’s departure, his closest confidant dispelled them by putting Belichick under the bus.

Bill Belichick earned a lot of flak for not allowing Tom Brady to complete his career in Foxborough.

Despite all he accomplished while playing for the Patriots, Tom Brady was unable to persuade his head coach to give him the salary he earned. In fact, the year before the Patriots won their sixth Super Bowl victory, Bill Belichick appeared happy to move on from the greatest quarterback of all time.

Brady eventually finished the 2019 season and entered free agency as the most sought-after player. Belichick’s reluctance to offer his most successful player a market-level contract was the only reason he had the chance to determine his own destiny. The Buccaneers were fortunate in that their choice allowed them to sign Brady to a two-year, $50 million deal.

By effectively kicking the GOAT out, Belichick exposed himself to well-deserved criticism, which only grew after it became apparent that Cam Newton lacked the ability to lead New England’s attack. Furthermore, Brady added salt to the wound by guiding his new club to a championship while his old team finished 7-9.

Was Belichick right in his handling of the situation?

It seems that he might have chosen a different strategy and extended a good thing even farther.

Alex Guerrero is the only one who really knows the Brady-Belichick relationship. He watched the two NFL superstars accomplish great success together throughout the years, but he also saw the drawbacks of a two-decade partnership.

Guerrero may claim he helped Brady prove his critics wrong by assisting his 44-year-old client in continuing to play at a high level. So it’s no surprise that he put Belichick under the bus for TB12’s well publicized departure from Foxborough.

“It was as though Bill had never truly… Guerrero told Karen Guregian of the Boston Herald, “I believe his emotions or sentiments never changed with age.” “I believe Bill was still trying to treat Tom like the 20-year-old youngster he selected as he went into his late 30s or early 40s. And I believe all of the guys knew Tom was different.”

Brady’s close confidant made no bones about who he thinks is to blame for the events that transpired.

He said, “He’s older, therefore he should be treated differently.” “And none of the other players would have bothered if he had been handled differently. That was a Bill thing, I believe. He never grew up. So you can’t treat a 40-year-old like a 20-year-old. It’s not going to work.”

Guerrero didn’t hold back in criticizing Belichick of failing to evolve over time. It’s impossible to read his remarks as anything other than blaming the 69-year-old coach for driving Brady out of town. With the Buccaneers set to visit Foxborough in Week 4, it’ll be interesting to see how much more bulletin board fodder appears.

With Brady’s return to Gillette Stadium, the Tampa Bay-New England game has become one of the most anticipated regular-season games in history. The Patriots will have a difficult time slowing down a high-powered attack loaded with playmakers. Meanwhile, they must find a way to score against a defense that includes Shaquil Barrett, Ndamukong Suh, Vita Vea, Lavonte David, and Devin White, among others.

Will Bill Belichick’s coaching and game-planning genius be enough to unseat the defending Super Bowl champions? Or will Tampa’s plethora of skill be too much for his team to handle?

We’ll find out soon enough, but betting against Tom Brady feels like a bad idea.
