Professional wrestlers/sports entertainers are considered as a popular sports. They show their skills and go for a fight to entertain people. Their matches are called dramas of the real world. In Japan, there are more than 400 different kinds of wrestling matches/sports entertainers in the country. In the world, there are about 300. In these matches, they fight with each other which is called shoot match or work match depending on what they plan beforehand and compete who is better by giving each other hard strikes and performing various stunts.

They are just like any other entertainers in the world. They put on a show, and people enjoy it. They then transitioned into professional wrestling because of the athletic challenge it posed and the opportunity to entertain people.
Professional wrestlers are some of the most well-trained and physically fit athletes in the world. They engage in a strenuous training regimen that includes weightlifting, cardio, and wrestling practice. This allows them to perform incredible stunts and strikes in the ring.
They have to portray a character on screen or live event
They are often seen as heroes or villains based on their actions in the ring. There are good guys that fight for justice and bad guys that try to cheat to win the match. The characteristics of their characters have different variations depending on where they perform. American professional wrestlers tend to play larger-than-life characters who appear invincible, while Japanese professional wrestlers tend to play more realistic characters.
Due to the scripted nature of the matches, professional wrestlers are considered actors. They have to study their character’s background and motivations in order to properly portray them in the ring. Since most modern wrestling is based on a planned script, they need to know exactly what is going to happen before it does, and how to react.
Wrestlers’ Lives are Hard
Professional wrestlers make good money for their performances which is the only opportunity they have to live. But it’s not easy. They may get dizzy or even break some bones if they are hit hard or jump onto a table carelessly. Some of them suffer from serious injuries or even die because of the hard strikes in the ring. For this reason, they are only considered as sports entertainers and not athletes.
Their lives outside the ring are no easier than inside it. Professional wrestlers typically live out of suitcases to reduce time between matches. They spend weeks on the road away from families, friends, and other people. During the week, they may wrestle in one city before flying to another city for a match on the weekend.
